Elise is an actor and producer most well-known for originating the role of Miss Honey in the Australian production of Matilda for which she won the 2016 Helpmann Award, the 2015 Sydney Theatre Award and was nominated for the 2016 Green Room Award. As well as for her role as Lucille Ball in Everybody Loves Lucy and as Mary Flynn in Merrily We Roll Along both for which she was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award.

For television as Lynne Woolnough in the Australian mini-series Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door (Channel 7); the pilot of The Modern Guide to Dating and as Louise Mcpherson in pilot comedy drama Tumbling alongside Melina Vidler and Sara West for Two Little Films.
In 2017 Elise’s debut album Dahlesque was released nationally under ABC/ Universal Music. Elise regularly performs in concert and events, including performing her one woman show Dahlesque with the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the Auckland Philarmonia. She starred in To Barbra with Love for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, alongside Stephen Schwartz as part of the World Premiere Defying Gravity Concerts and in the national tour of Beyond The Barricade for Lunchbox Theatricals UK. She has sang the national anthem for the 2018 Bledisloe Cup, at Carols in the Domain, for the Australian small business awards, Australian Mo Awards, and ACON worlds Aid day concerts to name a few.
Elise has produced for Screen Australia, Oriel Entertainment, Chips and Gravy Films and Pretty Matches Productions in NYC.
