Rachel is passionate about financial literacy and encouraging people to learn that you have the power to change your financial future. She is a qualified property investment analyst and money management expert. She consults full time for Empower Wealth, Australia’s largest property investment firm, helping clients to manage their money, set retirement targets, structure finances correct and invest safely. She worked for 15 years in the musical theatre space in shows such as Wicked, Matilda, Muriel’s Wedding, Billy Elliot, Evita and La Cage Aux Folles to name a few.

Whilst on tour from 2013, she started learning about finance via podcasting and reading, buying properties whilst on tour, gutting them, fixing them up then renting them out. (It’s remarkable what you can learn on YouTube about laying flooring!) This strategy proved remarkably successful and she currently owns five properties across Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.

Rachel studied a psychology undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney and an economics postgraduate degree. She is a graduate of Ed International in Sydney.

When not onstage, you can either find her in a spreadsheet, on a bike with a podcast, or power walking around the bay in Balmain with her beloved aussie shepherd, Stormy Daniels.
