Actor, producer and co-founder of Hey Lemonade, Elise is a Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Award winner most well known for playing Miss Honey in Matilda the Musical, Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia, Lynne Woolnough in TV series Peter Allen and as Lucille Ball in Everybody Loves Lucy which Elise co-created, wrote and starred in.

Elise is a graduate of NIDA and studied law at the University of NSW. In 2014 she founded her own production company Oriel Entertainment whereby she has created and produced theatre, musicals and concerts for Sydney Opera House, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, QPAC, Adelaide Cabaret Festival and the ABC. Elise’s debut album Dahlesque was released with ABC/Universal in 2017.

For screen, Elise has worked as a producer, dramaturge and creative content developer, both locally and internationally, including a producer placement with Sarah Jessica Parker’s all female production company Pretty Matches Productions. Elise recently starred as Mary in Merrily We Roll Along for the Hayes Theatre Company (2021 Sydney Theatre Award nomination), alongside Caroline O’Connor and Katie Noonan in To Barbra with Love with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (Live Nation) and is currently playing the lead role of Rita Hansen in Tim Minchin’s new musical Groundhog Day in Melbourne.

Lucy is an AACTA, Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Award winner and one of Australia’s most well-known leading ladies, with major stage and screen roles to her credit including Glinda in Wicked (GFO), Sophie in The Letdown (Netflix/ABC), Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical (GFO), Roxy in Sisters (Network Ten/Netflix), Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (GFO), Chantelle “Tugger” Waugh in Doctor Doctor (Nine Network/Acorn TV), Audra in A Perfect Pairing (Netflix) and a judge on Australia’s Got Talent (Fremantle/Nine Network).

Lucy graduated from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Arts, studied law at the University of Sydney and created and hosted My Soundtrack which was the ABC’s most downloaded radio show during its run. She features on Witches and her self titled album for ABC Music. Lucy’s screenwriting debut Lift premiered on Network Ten, winning the Best Screen Play Asia Web Award. Lucy co-wrote and stars in Love In Lockdown, which won the AACTA Award for Best Online Drama or Comedy.

Lucy is currently recording the second season of her podcast I Love With Lucy for Nova Entertainment due to be released in March 2024, is featuring onstage in The Odd Couple with Crossroads Live in Sydney and Melbourne and is in development with Gristmill and Jungle Entertainment on multiple television series.

After over 20 years in building technology and technology-enabled businesses, helping businesses achieve growth, and building leadership capabilities, Brian brings immense experience in start-up and scaleup environments to the Hey Lemonade team as Director of Growth & Operations.

Known as a highly creative, results driven and effective leader, Brian brings the ability to identify and execute growth opportunities across a wide range of industries. Most recently, his work running an Australian healthtech start-up brought the platform to market, got customers signed onto the platform, scaled the team, established significant recurring revenue, and even won a major multi-year federal government contract.

Fifteen-plus years in consulting taught him to help leaders to quickly lock onto the key issues, the key next steps, and the key value drivers, and to create a path forward.

Brian also invests significant time and effort into supporting the Australian start-up ecosystem, particularly through mentoring at RMIT’s Activator LaunchHub, LaunchVic’s CIVVIC Labs, Climate Salad’s Global Growth Program, and What The Health.

Shaw Innes is an innovative technology leader and change agent with broad experience in IT solution design, technology transformation, software development and operations.

Over the last 20 years, Shaw has delivered technology solutions across the heavily regulated gambling industry, commodity export, manufacturing, geospatial, unmanned aircraft and finance industries. Shaw is highly skilled at building cross-organisational relationships which improve culture and business outcomes.

Shaw is currently a principal consultant at SixPivot as well as Co-founder and CTO of B2B fintech startup Leases16 and Founder of SerenityOne. Shaw was a key software development innovator working for over 7 years at Tatts Group. Achievements include introduction of the concept of DevOps, introduction of Infrastructure Automation initiatives, transformation of legacy technology practices to make use of continuous delivery and selection for the 2015 Tatts Group Future Leaders Program.

Shaw is a frequent participant in startup weekends and hackathons, being a member of winning teams on several occasions. His passion for learning, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship is a unique asset to any team, helping to bring ideas to reality through the development of prototypes, MVPs, products and then working with stakeholders to align ongoing technology needs for the future direction of the business.

Lucy Cochran is a multi-award winning brand strategist and behaviour change expert with over 15 years of experience defining and growing brands in some of the best creative agencies across Melbourne, Sydney, New York and Amsterdam.

Lucy led the strategy department that was awarded the Most Effective Agency of the year. She has won multiple Creative Planning Awards. She has worked both globally and locally in the digital space with brands ranging from Instagram (Global) and Tripadvisor (Global) to 28 by Sam Wood. Lucy has been a regular panellist on the Gruen Transfer and led the Melbourne APG (the body representing strategy in advertising in Australia) for years. She’s been a consistent part of mentorship programs in the advertising industry and has been an avid voice for equality.

Lucy is a volunteer at Lifeline and also a provisional clinical psychologist. She is currently completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Swinburne University.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Winnie actively invests in the broader tech community by volunteering at prominent conferences such as YOW! and the Grace Hopper Foundation. This commitment to community engagement showcases her dedication to knowledge-sharing and inclusivity within the industry.

Emily Cascarino

Emily Cascarino is an actor, writer and social advocate. She operates across arts, health and technology industries to facilitate more progressive and meaningful wellbeing outcomes for all.

Emily is a graduate of ED5 International and studied psychology at Deakin University. She has since worked as a trauma-informed intervention specialist for refugee and migrant children in the Out of Home Care space at Settlement Services International. Emily is also an assistant producer with the Hush Foundation, creating healing music in collaboration with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra and prolific artists such as Lior and Kate Miller-Hiedke. Her research into the impact of music for hospitalised young people experiencing chronic pain, trauma and serious mental health issues has been published in the Psychology of Music Journal in 2021. Emily has also contributed content and consultation to a suite of wellbeing startups and digital healthcare companies including award-winning men’s health referral site Pilot (Eucalyptus) and workplace wellbeing app MateCheck (Check-Mate Applications).

Emily has also worked consistently in theatre and film, including Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys and Wicked, as well as being a collaborative artist with Milkcrate Theatre.

Nina Carmen

Nina is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Throughout their studies, they performed in roles such as the title character in The Drowsy Chaperone and Barbara Finn in Elegies.

Since graduating, Nina has performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Hermia (Serpentine Arts Theatre Company), Alice in Wonderland as Tweedle Dum (SK Entertainment), and was a featured soloist at the 2021 Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s Music Theatre Gala with Lorina Gore and Simon Gleeson. They were also a part of Meerkat’s School Touring team in 2021 & 2022.

Recently, Nina played Ali in the Australian tour of Mamma Mia! The Musical.

Nina is deeply committed to promoting mental well-being within the creative industry and everyday life. They are excited to support the Hey Lemonade team in their mission to bring these vital practices to the community.
